Description
QTR-8RC IR Line Sensor Array
The QTR-8RC IR Line Sensor Array is a reflective infrared sensor module designed primarily for line-following and surface detection applications in robotics. It consists of eight IR LED and phototransistor pairs arranged in a linear configuration, enabling precise detection of contrast differences such as black lines on white surfaces. The module outputs digital signals by measuring the discharge time of an RC circuit, allowing microcontrollers to interpret reflectance without requiring an ADC. Its compact and modular design makes it suitable for integration into embedded systems and autonomous robots.
