Description
MX1508 Dual Motor Driver
The MX1508 Dual Motor Driver Module is a compact dual H-bridge driver designed to control two DC motors or one 4-wire, 2-phase stepper motor. It supports forward, reverse, braking and PWM speed control. The module operates from a low-voltage DC supply, making it suitable for battery-powered electronics and robotics. It uses the MX1508 motor driver IC with integrated MOSFET H-bridge outputs. Its small size makes it useful for miniature robots, toy cars and embedded motor-control projects.
Technical Specifications:
- Supply Voltage: 2V to 10V DC
- Signal Input Voltage: 1.8V to 7V
- Operating Current: Up to about 1.5A per channel
- Peak Current: Up to about 2.5A depending on module/load conditions
Features:
- Dual H-bridge motor driver configuration
- Controls two DC motors independently
- Supports PWM motor speed control
- Very low standby current, specified at less than 0.1µA
- Built-in thermal protection and anti-shoot-through/common-conduction protection
Applications:
- Arduino and microcontroller-based robots
- Smart cars and battery-powered toy vehicles
- Small DC motor speed and direction control
- 4-wire bipolar stepper motor projects
- DIY automation, robotics and embedded motion-control systems
